Trails

There are trailheads all around Lake Conroe located in the Sam Houston National Forest.  Our favorite trail is the Lone Star Trail, but many of the trails are excellent.  You can hike, birdwatch, explore, and enjoy adventures throughout Lake Conroe and the Sam Houston National Forest.

Multi-Use Trails

The Sam Houston multi-use trails can be used for hiking, biking, horseback riding and by registered off-highway vehicles (OHVs).  There is even parking for horse trailers at some of the trailheads.  Below are directions from the forest service website for directions to the multi-use trail heads.
